Knee Walkers are a medical mobility device; they are also referred to as Knee Scooters or Rolling Knee Scooters. This provides a safe, comfortable, and easy-to-maneuver alternative to crutches. Primarily for those recovering from below-the-knee injury or surgery, which requires the foot and/or leg to be non-weight bearing during recovery.

Rolling Knee Walkers are designed for weight-bearing relief for injuries such as fractures, a torn Achilles’ tendon, or surgery to the foot/ankle. Additionally, they can be used after partial or complete amputations of the foot as a permanent mobility aid. Alternatively, they can be used while waiting for the surgery to heal or for the fitting of a prosthesis.

Knee Scooters utilize an elevated, padded platform to rest the knee on. Providing continuous support for your injured limb. This design enables the user to balance naturally using two legs, versus just one, as crutches force you to do. You then move yourself by pushing off with your good leg and steer the unit by turning the handlebars to control the direction of the front wheels. Stopping by either using the breaks or your uninjured leg. While in use, your injured leg will remain elevated and fully non-weight-bearing.
