Convenience Items
We offer Overbed Tables and Folding Ramps for temporary use.
Overbed Tables – Bedside tables on wheels that can be placed next to or under a bed. The wheels have integrated brakes to keep it in place when in use. Comes with an adjustable height and works with most bedframes. Despite the table’s small stature, it can hold up to 50lbs. Providing access to items that would be out of reach for bedridden patients.
6ft Folding Ramps – Provide a portable way to improve accessibility. Whether visiting family or facilities without traditional access ramps, suitcase ramps provide a non-invasive solution. A 6-foot ramp can safely rise to 6 inches. When using mobility equipment, ensure that the ramp is not too steep. A rise of one inch to a length of 12 inches is standard.
Who Needs A Rental Lift?
Caretakers primarily use lifts to lift and transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and car seats.
Caretakers usually need a lift when:
They are not able to safely lift the patient, usually, due to the patient’s condition.
The patient requires frequent lifting. Usually, to transfer from room to room or to reach the bathroom.
Patient comfort is a priority. Lift slings distribute pressure more evenly than lift belts.
If you are still unsure, we offer in-store demonstration services for all of our lifts and slings.
What Patient Lift Rental Is Best for You?
The two types of lifts are Electric and Hydraulic.
Electric patient lifts – need to be charged, but have a built-in battery for operation. Emergency stop button and remote for operation. If you need to frequently move the patient or require the convenience of an automated lift. An Electric Lift might be best for you.
Manual patient lifts – do not require a charge and are much cheaper. While not as effortless as an electric, manual hydraulic lifts are still easy to use. Since they are fully manual, there is no need to keep the unit charged or worry about the battery failing. If you only need the lift occasionally or want a reliable and affordable option. Then a hydraulic Manual Lift might be best for you.
Deluxe Walkers
Suppose you require some extra support when out and about. In that case, we have a selection of Deluxe Walkers. They include a flip-up padded seat, an under-seat pouch to keep your valuables out of sight and safe, and padded backrests. Allowing you to use it as a walker when moving and as a seat when you stop or rest.
Rental Terms and Conditions:
Before & During Rental:
Adding this item to your cart and checking out adds you to our rental list. We will contact you after we receive your order and go over the rental process. You or a representative will need to come to our store to sign a rental agreement, pay the deposit, and pay for the rental. A photo ID is required for signing the rental agreement. We also do not offer digital signing services. This policy helps ensure that you or your representative are able to receive and return the unit.
The rental starts once picked up or delivered. It ends when the equipment returns to our store. You can return the unit to our store or request a rental return service. For a rental return service, you must call us at least 48-hours IN ADVANCE to request a delivery pickup. We offer delivery and pickup services for an additional fee. We primarily service Fresno County, and cannot guarantee delivery or pickup outside of our service area. You are fully responsible for the equipment until it returns to us.
Once the first rental period ends, a new rental period will begin automatically. The new rental period fee will be the same as the previous period. For example, a daily rental incurs an extra day of rental fees. However, a Monthly rental will incur an extra month of rental fees. To prevent additional charges, please plan to return the unit before the due date. Failure to return the unit and failure to pay for the additional rental period will terminate the rental agreement. If you do not respond to our attempts to contact you, you will be responsible for the full retail value of the equipment.
Returning & After Rental:
We accept early returns for no additional cost. However, we will not refund fees for unused time. Plan to rent for slightly longer than you require the unit. Contact us if you require a rental for longer than you expected.
Upon safe return of the unit and finalization of rental fees, we will refund your full deposit. Refunds may take 7-14 business days, depending on your bank. If the equipment is not returned, lost, stolen, or broken beyond repair, the customer will be charged the full retail value of the equipment to be replaced.
Billing Terms: We require that all customers pay the rental and security deposit for each piece of equipment before pick up or prior to delivery. Rentals require a credit card on file and a valid photo ID at the time of signing. We will not accept cash or checks unless used for the deposit. We do not bill insurance for rental units.
Buy out: If a client wishes to purchase the rental equipment, we will apply 100% of the 1st month’s rental fees and deposit towards the purchase. Only half of the fees charged after the 1st month apply to the purchase.
The client still needs to pay for the delivery fees if they cancel the rental while in transit, or refuse it at the time of delivery/set up.
