Bath Benches
Shower chairs, or bath benches, provide a stable, non-slip seat inside the shower, allowing users to bathe while seated, reducing the risk of falls. Our models have features ranging from adjustable legs, armrests, and even back supports for added comfort and security. All models have non-slip feet to prevent shifting while seated. Standard models have push-button adjustment for easy lowering and raising the seat.
We have the following types of bath benches:
- Bath stools – Rounded seat for use in small showers and narrow tubs.
- Bath seats – Both with and without a back. Hand grip and handheld showerhead holder cut-outs.
- Heavy-duty bath seats – Both with and without a back. Additional cross brace and pin supports increase the weight limit from 300 lbs to 500 lbs.
- Deluxe bath chairs – Come standard with arms, with an option with or without a back.
Transfer Benches
Transfer benches extend over the side of the tub, allowing users to sit down outside the tub and slide safely into the bathing area without stepping over the tub wall. This is ideal for those with balance issues or difficulty lifting their legs. The feet have suction cups on the shower side and non-slip on the outside, preventing falls and shifting when getting into and out of the bath.
We have the following types of bath transfer benches:
- Standard transfer benches – Comes with a removable back and handle. Converting from left to right side transfers.
- Heavy-duty transfer benches – Provide the same functionality. Comes with additional braces and pin supports, bringing the weight capacity up to 500 lbs.
- Swivel transfer bench – Swivels with the pull of a lever. It also slides from side to side.
- Padded transfer benches – Come with all the features of the standard transfer bench, but with padding on the plastic portions
