Other Supports & Braces

We also offer other supports & braces. This section has the following supports and braces: 

Back, Knee, & Ankle braces – Improve posture and support. Aiding recovery from injury or exertion.
Post Op shoes and boots – Protect the foot and ankle after surgery. Improving mobility while protecting the injured area.
Wrist and hand splints – Hold the wrist and hand in place, preventing aggravation of injuries. Reducing discomfort and swelling.

The section also includes:

Arthritis gloves – Provide heat therapy to arthritic joints, reducing hand pain. Also helpful for treating carpal tunnel, overuse injuries, and wrist aches.
Seal Tight Cast Covers – Provide a watertight cover for your cast, allowing you to shower.
Gait Belts – Provide support for caretakers to help patients stand and walk. 
Arm Slings – Holds the arm to the body, supporting it and preventing further injury.

Back Brace

The Back Braces we stock are a type of back support made to comfort and support the spine. Providing lumbar and abdominal support promotes proper spinal alignment and helps prevent and protect against injuries, including strains and sprains. Additionally, back braces can help reduce lower back pain and improve posture. Note, back braces should not be worn when sleeping or for long periods of time.

They can also be used to support the back during strenuous activity. Typically, when lifting large loads or performing other demanding work. Some come with rubber grips to prevent sliding when in use. Most Braces are low profile, easily hidden by a jacket or other clothing.

Gait Belts

Gait belts are used to help caregivers support individuals who may be too weak to stand properly on their own. Caregivers can also use them to help support walking and can help prevent back injuries while assisting. The belt is meant to be worn around the waist to allow for moderate support when getting up from wheelchairs and to provide a grip for caregivers when walking. When used properly, they help caregivers keep the wearer from falling.

Knee Braces

The knee braces we have in stock help improve stability. Preventing overextension after an injury or providing additional strength when walking. There are a few different types of braces that we have in stock. Patella Stabilizer Braces protect and support the kneecap and front of the knee. Knee Support Sleeves, on the other hand, are elastic supports that lightly compress the knee to prevent additional injury.
